International work

Taking the Game Global

Our work doesn’t stop in Brixton. We’re proud to support the development of wheelchair basketball in Ghana and Uganda — sharing equipment, coaching, and experience to help build strong, inclusive sports communities. By working with local organisations and governing bodies, we’re helping to grow the game and create lasting impact around the world.

In 2022 we started our International Work, kicking off in Ghana to start a 3 year development program. Whilst there we:

  • Ran an accredited coaching course to create 25 new coaches in Ghana, Nigeria IvoryCoast and Kenya.
  • Ran a classification course and classified over 60 players for the first time. Also taught coaches how to classify players
  • Donated 10 wheelchairs
  • Helped with the creation of a wheelchair basketball development plan
